About Us:
Leo Pixel Studios is a trailblazing content production studio based in Toronto, Canada. We specialize in cutting-edge video production, 3D animation, digital twins, virtual reality, augmented reality, and virtual production. With clients like Air Canada, ESDC, La Senza, Pfizer, and more, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in creative production. Our new virtual production studio, launching in Mississauga in March 2025, will feature a robotic camera arm, a high-speed camera capable of capturing up to 1400 fps in 4K and more.
Role Overview:
We’re looking to add Directors to our freelance talent pool. As a Director, you’ll oversee the artistic vision, storytelling, and execution of high-impact productions for major clients and partners as well for our content store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct video shoots, from pre-production to final delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, producers, and creative teams to ensure alignment with goals.
- Oversee on-set decision-making to ensure creative quality and efficiency.
- Work with editors in VFX artists to achieve the desired results.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Director in film, TV, or commercial production.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Portfolio of past directorial work with clear examples of storytelling impact.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with motion capture, camera tracking, or LED volume production.
- Familiarity with cinematic lighting, VFX compositing, and AR/VR production workflows.
