About Us:
Leo Pixel Studios is a trailblazing content production studio based in Toronto, Canada. We specialize in cutting-edge video production, 3D animation, digital twins, virtual reality, augmented reality, and virtual production. With clients like Air Canada, ESDC, La Senza, Pfizer, and more, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in creative production. Our new virtual production studio, launching in Mississauga in March 2025, will feature a robotic camera arm, a high-speed camera capable of capturing up to 1400 fps in 4K and more.
Role Overview:
We’re on the lookout for experienced Virtual Production Operators and Set Designers skilled in Aximmetry and Unreal Engine. This opportunity isn’t for an immediate hire but to establish a pool of creative freelancers who will have the chance to collaborate with us on future projects. If you have a passion for cinematic storytelling, a deep understanding of real-time production, and a knack for design and technical execution, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage Aximmetry and Unreal Engine software for real-time production.
- Design, develop, and manage virtual production sets and environments.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and technical teams to meet creative objectives.
- Problem-solve production challenges in real-time to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry tools, trends, and workflows in virtual production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Virtual Production, Set Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Aximmetry and Unreal Engine (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of real-time production workflows.
- Creative problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing past work in virtual production and set design.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with motion capture, camera tracking, or LED volume production.
- Familiarity with cinematic lighting, VFX compositing, and AR/VR production workflows.
